Hi! Our names are Joe and Rebekah, and we aren’t your typical travelers. We met at The University of Texas at Austin in 2013, got married 2 years later at the age of 19, and haven’t stopped making memories together ever since!

Of course it can be difficult to make memories without money so how do we make a living? Well, despite getting married so young, we both earned our bachelor’s degrees from UT. Joe’s degree is in Computational Physics, and he currently works remotely as a software developer for a small startup company. Rebekah’s degree is in Spanish. She went on to earn her alternative teaching certification and taught middle school math for 5 1/2 years. Recently, she finished her master’s degree from Texas State University in Educational Technology and currently tutors math online and works as a remote contractor writing online, math curriculum.

Although we enjoy working from home, it has always been our dream to travel; so, in the fall of 2021, we bought a camper, “the Rocinante” and hit the road! Though our home base is still in Texas, we continuously crave adventure. With both of us working remotely, why not work remotely from various, incredible places around the United States?

From figuring out what all the switches do 🎛 to solar farming ☀️ and gazing at the stars 🌟 in New Mexico, to burrowing in the snow ❄️ in Arkansas, it has been such a journey getting on the road, and it has just started!
